Auxiliaries of
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has long been a trailblazer in service and community impact, proudly holding the distinction of being the first Greek-letter organization to establish national auxiliaries. These auxiliaries extend the sorority’s mission beyond its membership, creating meaningful opportunities for individuals of all ages to grow, lead, and serve.
Our youth auxiliaries, with roots dating back to the 1950s, have evolved over the years to meet the changing needs of young women. The current structure, established in 1994, continues to empower participants through a strong foundation centered on scholarship, sisterly love, and community service. Designed for young ladies who show interest in these ideals, our programs nurture confidence, leadership, and lifelong purpose.

Amicae
In 1940, graduate members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. recognized that many women in their communities shared the sorority’s core values of service, scholarship, and sisterhood, but had not had the opportunity to pursue a college education. In response, auxiliary groups began to form across the country, creating a pathway for greater inclusion and engagement.
Among these, the most enduring auxiliary is the Amicae, founded in Omaha, Nebraska in 1947. Meaning “friends” in Latin, the Amicae Auxiliary continues to thrive as the official adult women’s auxiliary of the sorority.

The Amicae are dedicated to supporting Zeta programs and initiatives, fostering positive relationships within the community, and strengthening collaboration in service efforts. This auxiliary also provides a meaningful connection for non-Greek women who wish to engage with and contribute to the mission and impact of a Greek-letter organization.
Membership is open to women who exemplify the ideals of the sorority, including family members, friends, and those recommended by local chapters. Today, there are more than 175 Amicae chapters across the United States, each committed to service, sisterhood, and community engagement.

Zeta Male Network
The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Zeta Male Network was born out of the natural camaraderie formed among the men who supported and accompanied Zeta women in their service and social activities. What began as informal connection has grown into a meaningful auxiliary rooted in fellowship, support, and shared purpose.

Composed of spouses, family members, and friends of Zeta women, the Zeta Male Network provides opportunities for connection, collaboration, and community engagement. Members play an active role in supporting Zeta initiatives, partnering on service projects, and participating in social and community events.
Through their involvement, members of the Zeta Male Network help strengthen the impact of the sorority’s mission while building lasting relationships grounded in service and unity.
